at Crystal Flats

Body Balance Movement Studio is a new fitness studio concept at Crystal Flats in Bentonville. We collaborated with Polk Stanley Wilcox Architects and the owners over the course of six months to bring design to the space, while also considering functionality.  In partnership with the owners, we created a vibrant and flexible space, with a modern aesthetic. The detailed use of white oak, quartz, cork and glass, creates a contemporary space to house XFormer machines, a barre studio and many other innovative fitness options.

at Crystal Flats Bentonville

Stay True Bike & Barber is located in the Golden Rule building in downtown Rogers. This building started its life as the Blue Goose Saloon in 1894 and has housed numerous businesses through the years. We were really able to sink into the design and customization with the Owner. All of the furniture pieces are custom creations for this specific space. The millwork is all wrapped with carbon steel and when combined with the white oak, created a practical environment for both the mechanics and barbers. Many hours of work was poured into the space by a great team of subcontractors to update the space and maintain the heritage of the interior.

at Crystal Flats Bentonville

Angela Smith and Karen Duncan are the mother-daughter duo that started Huega at Crystal Flats in Bentonville. We teamed up with Blue Crane and Polk, Stanley Wilcox to finish out their first location and bring their eco-friendly nail salon to life. The budget was a challenge as is for most small business owners. Working with Laura Lyon at P.S.W. and our subcontractor teams we were able to present numerous cost saving options in order to get within the project budget, and ultimately completing the project under that amount.

at 8th Street Market

Rachel and Monica started Two Friends Bookstore as just a pop up in 2018 and then moved into their cozy space over on 7th Street. Now they have a new larger home over at 8th Street Market. Salt Group had the opportunity to work with Rachel and Monica to take a much larger cold space and turn it into their warm bookstore and coffee shop. Working with a small budget we were able to reuse many pieces from their existing space and the previous restaurant that was in the new 8th Street Market space. From repurposed countertops, lighting, woodwork, old signs, bookshelves and outdoor benches we were able to save, modify and reuse as much as possible. With some great teamwork from many subcontractors we were able to transform the space into Rachel and Monica’s bookstore vision.

Superfine Sweet Shoppe opened in early 2022 in Bentonville Arkansas. We worked closely with Dylan and Christie Turk of KIN throughout the design process and construction in order to achieve their vision and maintain the project budget. During one of our first meetings Dylan described the final space as “Toyoko Drift and Marigold”. From right then we knew that this was going to be an exciting project. This project contained many custom pieces and details that took collaboration between many subcontractors in order to pull off seamlessly. Hands down, this is one of the wildest spaces we have ever been a part of and one we are very proud of.

Best Friends Animal Hospital was opened by Dr. Hokett in 2005 in Fayetteville Arkansas.

Complete interior demolition, relocation of pharmacy, revised interior wall layout, new exterior entrance and updated millwork, flooring and interior finishes. All work was completed while the Animal Hospital was open for business. We were able to work with the staff in order to coordinate all construction and business activities.
